It serves the purpose of control and protection and can also be utilized for the opening and closing of contact breakers and capacitor banks, with the option to include a current transformer for measurement and protection functions. The circuit breaker is equipped with a CT14-type spring operating mechanism, and it adheres to both the national standard GB1984-89, titled "AC high voltage circuit breakers," and the International Electrotechnical Commission standards IEC56, specified in the publication "High-voltage AC circuit breaker."
